Andal Amputuan Jr’s contrived endorsement of Noynoy was meant to smear an accused murderer’s bloody hands on a clean man. It was a clumsy attempt to besmirch Noynoy’s reputation, by letting a hated individual embrace Noynoy’s cause, in the hope that by sullying his integrity, the public will be incited into voting against him. But a mature public can see through the crude script . They see as well the hands that were pulling the strings on that jailhouse puppet play. They know that the Ampatuan clan is the latest wrecking ball that is being used to demolish the Aquino-Roxas ticket. Noynoy and Mar and the rest of the Liberals like me are correct in rejecting – and exposing the motives behind – the Ampatuans’ bogus support. Getting the support of the Ampatuans is like getting Hitler’s support in an Israeli election.
